Using Notebook 10

Get started using Notebook 10 to develop interactive lessons. Our school uses SMART Board and Gateway Tablets with wireless LCD when teaching various lessons using Notebook 10. The link provided will direct you to a PowerPoint and handout that were used for a recent training. Many of the websites to visit (left of postings) are related to the use of interactive whiteboards (SMART Boards) in the classroom.

Hey Cheri!
This is a wonderful start! It is very appealing to the eye - friendly!
I think beginning with the training slides is a great way to "jog" the new learner's mind and allow them to remember exploring different aspects of smart board.
Including the blog is a great way to get not only comments but questions as well.

Here's one for you. That procedure you showed me for putting images into a group. I wanted to cut and paste alot of images from one page onto individual pages so they wouldn't be so crowded. (Remember the PA/Alphabet pages I worked on?) I know it involved the right click and control but...
Great list of smart board sites - really allows us to find exactly the activities we would use and save to our own files.
Thanks for sending this on!

Hi Cheri, thanks for all the hard work you did in this, not sure where first post went...anyway found some great stuff I am hoping to save on jumpdrive so students don't have so much wait time with me getting it started. I am having some obstacles with not being able to open some sites but will ask you later...thanks again.
